This Privacy Policy explains how Gateway Marketing LLC ("FastBizValue," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use fastbizvalue.com and our online business valuation tool (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

FastBizValue provides a free, automated estimate of what a small business may be worth. It is operated in connection with business brokerage services provided by Mike Bolen, a licensed real estate broker affiliated with Transworld Business Advisors.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you use the valuation tool or contact us, we may collect:

  • Business details you enter, such as business type or industry, annual revenue, owner earnings (SDE), and the resulting estimated value.
  • Contact information you provide, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Any other information you choose to share with us (for example, in a message or on a call).

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage data, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you interact with the Site.
  • Referral and marketing attribution data, including campaign parameters (for example, UTM tags) that tell us which ad or link brought you to the Site.
  • Data collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

We do not ask for your business's name, and we do not require it to give you an estimate.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Generate and display your business valuation estimate.
  • Contact you about your estimate, about selling your business, and about our brokerage and related services.
  • Send you marketing communications by email, text message, and phone (see Section 6).
  • Operate, secure, improve, and analyze the Site and our tools.
  • Measure and improve our advertising, including on platforms like Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share it as follows:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the Site and our business, such as our CRM and marketing platform (GoHighLevel), our website host (Vercel), and analytics providers. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • Affiliated brokers and agents. If your business appears to be a fit for brokerage services, we may share your information with brokers or agents affiliated with us — including Mike Bolen and brokers within the Transworld Business Advisors network — so they can follow up with you in your area.
  • Advertising partners. We share limited data with advertising platforms such as Meta to measure and improve our ads. Depending on your state's law, this may be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising (see Section 7).
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, follow up with you, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to run the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. This includes the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API, which help us understand ad performance and reach relevant audiences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of certain interest-based advertising through your device settings and industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info).

6. Marketing Communications, Calls, and Texts

When you submit your phone number through the Site, you agree that we and our affiliated brokers and agents may contact you at that number — including by autodialed or automated calls and text messages, and prerecorded or artificial voice messages — about your estimate and our services.

  • Consent to receive these communications is not a condition of any purchase or of using the tool.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP.
  • You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time using the details in Section 10.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we collect, request a copy, request correction or deletion, and opt out of certain uses.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), you have the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell your information for money. However, our use of advertising technologies like the Meta Pixel may be considered "sharing" under California law. To opt out, you can adjust your browser cookie settings, use the opt-out tools listed in Section 5, or contact us using the details in Section 10.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using Section 10. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Links and Security

The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control, and this Policy does not apply to them. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
